Joint Percussion Ensemble Performance - 7pm on Monday 8th June at Ratton School, Eastbourne

Brighton and Hove Percussion Ensemble are delighted to have been invited to take part in the East Sussex Annual County Percussion Concert to be held at Ratton School, Eastbourne on 8th June. The concert will feature a variety of percussion music performed by a range of different ensembles from across East Sussex. The concert will also include the second public performance of Hove based composer Peter Copley’s piece Sea Life Stomp, performed jointly between players from Brighton & Hove and East Sussex.

Simon Limbrick has been hailed as one of the world’s great percussionist’s to rival the likes of Evelyn Glennie, as well as an international composer. The orchestra and Simon will perform works which each tell a story: Bulls Yard by Simon Limbrick, Scheherazade by Rimsky Korsakov and the Thieving Magpie by Rossini. A concert not to be missed!
