Advice on schemes of work and lesson planning

• In Brighton & Hove every primary and special school is able to consult us on how to develop their music curriculum.
• Schools often request an audit of music provision which then leads to realistic planning and documentation. Schools are finding this especially helpful when preparing self evaluations in anticipation of an inspection.
• Termly meetings are held with the Local Authority link advisers to help and advise schools through Raising Attainment Plans.
• Good practice that is observed in schools is encouraged as models for others and is disseminated through practical demonstrations and sharing of materials. This has been made even more effective through the use of ICT and the continual development of the new CD Roms.
