The Parents and Friends of the Youth Music Ensembles and Orchestras of Brighton & Hove

The “Friends” is a group of parents, past students, teachers and friends of BHMAS who are interested in supporting all children and young people who participate in Service activities. We currently run the ‘Friendly’ Coffee Shop at Music Centre on a Saturday; serve refreshments and provide volunteer assistance at concerts; and give behind-the-scenes support to some of the larger ensembles.

In the past the “Friends” have also purchased instruments and equipment for use by local students and we were pleased to be involved in fundraising for the Soundmakers campaign.
