Childrens Music Workshop

This progressive series of workshops is designed for children in primary years' 1, 2 and 3.  Their approach to active music making includes singing, percussion and movement and has been developed through our research into pre-school, infant and junior music making.  Children will get the best from these workshops by joining at the beginning of year one, however the syllabus has been designed so that pupils can join at any time, especially at the start of each September.  Each class has access to multimedia whiteboards which are being more widely used in the sessions through video, interactive visual aids and music technology programs.

Year One Children's Music Workshop

Singing Workshop Year 1 and Year 2

Your child can join our singing workshop sessions in primary years' 1 and 2.  These workshops are a new addition to our primary classes and will be led by Mike Reinstein, who is a nationally recognised teacher and published writer of children's songs.
Workshops are 30 minutes long.  They will run alongside our existing Children's Music Workshop classes run by Richard Baker.  If your child is already a member there is no need to apply for these new classes as the teachers will swap classes occasionally to enrich the experience of the children!

Year One Singing Workshop
These sessions aim to help children to enjoy singing and playing games.  This is a different emphasis to our popular Year 1 Music Workshop classes and we shall take the opportunity for the children to have an occasional session with the Music Workshop teacher.

Year Twp Singing Workshop
The children will be encouraged to develop their enjoyment of singing and music making with Mike through a variety of enjoyable activities, including occasional workshop sessions with our Music Workshop teacher.
